Park(ing) Day 2009

September 18, 2009 – MEDIATE is excited to roll out the green grass to celebrate all things GREEN (sound) at Park(ing) Day – an annual global event to temporarily transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. Created by the kooky local Rebar collective, Park(ing) Day is intended to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generousity and play.

Come by on Friday September 18 from 12-7pm near 2nd & Mission in San Francisco to hang out at our park. We’ll have some “special guests” that might just pop in! We will be tweeting/facebooking details and our actual coordinates that day.
