Expo & Symposium for Independent Arts
September 25 & 26, 2009 – MEDIATE is tabling once again at the 10th Annual Expo for Independent Arts, the Bay Area’s only grassroots connection fair for independent arts, music and culture. This year, the event is held outside at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park (between de Young Museum and Academy of Sciences) from 11am to 6pm. Come on out and say hi – we’ll have some CDs for sale and tell you all about our exciting upcoming GREEN SOUND next summer.
Also, ME’DI.ATE Director Alan So will be speaking on a panel on the “State of the Arts” at the Independent Arts Symposium. Held at the David Brower Center in Berkeley on September 25th, it is a full day event of incredible workshops, speakers, discussion, networking, panels and workshops on the role of art in civic dialogue, renewed interest in community-driven art, and new work that’s both innovative and entrepreneurial.
