ME’DI.ATE Announces Soundwave Festival ((4)) GREEN SOUND
April 8, 2010 – Bay Area’s Most Innovative Festival Explores Environmental Performances and Works From June 6 to August 13 2010. ME’DI.ATE Art Group is excited to announce the return of the acclaimed Soundwave Festival this summer for its fourth season, entitled GREEN SOUND, exploring the natural world and environmental issues. Arguably the largest collection of artists and performances the Bay Area’s avant-sound scene has ever seen, Soundwave ((4)) GREEN SOUND will feature over 75 participating artists and musicians, in over 35 inspired performances, exhibits and talks, in 18 events over the span of 2 ½ months. Expo & Symposium for Independent Arts
September 25 & 26, 2009 – MEDIATE is tabling once again at the 10th Annual Expo for Independent Arts, the Bay Area’s only grassroots connection fair for independent arts, music and culture held outside at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. Also, ME’DI.ATE Director Alan So will be on a panel discussing the “State of the Arts” at the Independent Arts Symposium held at the David Brower Center in Berkeley on September 25th.
Park(ing) Day 2009
September 18, 2009 – MEDIATE is excited to roll out the green grass to celebrate all things GREEN (sound) at Park(ing) Day – an annual global event to temporarily transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. Friday September 18 from 12-7pm near 2nd & Mission in San Francisco!

July 14, 2009 – The next season of Soundwave will explore our sonic connections to the environment. For GREEN SOUND, Soundwave seeks artists, composers and musicians to investigate the wonder of natural world, and examine environmental responsibility and sustainability through sound.

ME’D1.ATE NETWORK is excited to announce the most daring and ambitious Soundwave>Series ever. A record 11 extraordinary events will start June 27, 2008 through to August 17, 2008 at leading San Francisco art and music institutions The Lab, Community Music Center, and Intersection for the Arts…as well as on a moving bus venue hosted by New Langton Arts, Queen’s Nails Annex, Art Engine and the spectacular de Young Museum.
Project>Soundwave Exhibits at the Singapore Design Festival 2007


ME’D1.ATE is honored to be invited to showcase Project>Soundwave at the 2007 Singapore Design Festival from November 27 to December 08 2007. It will be a part of ‘My Universal Home’, an installation by Singapore-based Belgian designer and artist Anita Nevens in collaboration with designstudio Little Red Dots and artist Noriko Suzuki-Bosco and sponsored by Fortis and Design Flanders Belgium.
